Universal Donors was a startup initiated by Ali Syedain, who had one goal – making students comfortable with the idea of Blood and Organ Donation. Due to the lack of awareness of this service in Pakistan, UD strives to teach the local community and students on how to save lives with a simple choice. The enterprise is building a system that allows for the donation of blood, hair organs, and food; bridging the gap between donor agencies and willing donors.
With a digital operating system, the process becomes fast and easily accessible. One that is compatible with Web API, web portals, and mobile operating systems. Through this setup, they want to connect donor agencies and donors. To achieve this, they are developing a unifying cloud based system that is supported by SAAS, Web API, Web based portal and mobile operating systems like Android and iOS. In this way, multiple platforms can approach UD members for donations no matter the geographical distance as all communication is centralized and on-line.
The endgame with Universal Donors is to inevitably show students how they can use their life to save another, looking beyond geographical boundaries that restrict people from becoming universal donors.
